MaterialsEach watercolor portrait is created with:
- professional watercolor paints
- high-quality watercolor paper
- hand-painted transparent layers
- artist’s signature
- certificate of authenticity
- careful protective packaging for shipping
I use professional materials so the artwork looks delicate, but remains a real fine art piece created to be preserved and framed.
FramingWatercolor portraits are created on paper and should be framed behind glass or museum acrylic to protect the surface from dust, moisture and direct touch.
The portrait is usually shipped unframed, which makes international delivery safer and gives you freedom to choose a frame that matches your interior.
If you would like, I can also help arrange framing before shipping. This option is discussed individually, depending on the size, frame style and destination country.
TimelineWatercolor portraits usually take less time than oil portraits because watercolor does not need several weeks of drying before shipping.
The painting process usually takes around 1–2 weeks, depending on the size, number of people and complexity of the portrait.
After the portrait is finished, I will send you photos of the artwork for approval. Once approved, the portrait will be carefully packed and prepared for shipping.
