The local church just outside the village, dedicated to Saints Primus and Felician, is built at an impressive location on a hill overlooking most of the northern part of the Ljubljana Basin with the Julian Alps as a backdrop towards the northwest and the Kamnik–Savinja Alps towards the east.
Winter in the setting sun is a time when everything seems so quiet and calm. Cold air envelops the body, each breath opens the lungs, and outside the snow quietly rustles underfoot. The hill is covered with a white blanket, and this makes it seem so clean and fresh. Buildings turn into mysterious sculptures, and the glare of the setting sun creates a holiday mood. The autumn leaves that have not yet fallen on the trees, like bright fireworks, add color and life to the peaceful landscape.
